I’m happy to report that I have completed my first personal milestone I set for myself recently. I have completed 10% of my “Bible in a year” reading plan.
Shortly after making my decision official to pursue ministry, I realized I was about to embark on a journey fully blind. I have never read the Bible in its entirety. Over the years, I’ve made several attempts to do this but would only make it a week or less into my reading plan.
So, this is a victory on multiple levels for me. 💪
As a little side note for further info, I am reading a “Bible in a year” in consecutive order. As of last night, I just finished Exodus 14, where it talks about Moses parting the sea to allow the Israelites to escape slavery under Egypt’s Pharaoh. I’m reading from the Common English Bible which REALLY makes the reading easier I have to admit, even easier than The Message.
