Well, today, I announced both in church and on Facebook that I have made the decision to pursue Ministry in the church as my life’s calling. I have felt the call tugging at me for a few years, more often most recently, especially after surviving my stroke that really should have killed me back in 2023.
So, buckle up and come along with me on this crazy ride I’m about to go on. Luckily I have a great mentor in this process to guide me along and keep me in line on the correct path. That mentor is Pastor Brad from our church by the way.
I’ve created this blog and I’ve publicly shared my intentions with enough of the right people to help keep me accountable. I’ve had FAR too many failed college attempts in my past and I REALLY want to succeed at this one. This is the first time in my life I’ve ever felt sure of what I wanted to do. The only insecurity I have is the imposter’s syndrome I feel because I don’t have a lot of confidence in my ability to properly convey the message I am trying to deliver since I have the lovely compliments of my stroke causing my mouth and brain to get into arguments and I frequently lose the words I wanted to say.
So, the point of this post is to ask you to help keep me in account for my progress, as well as my behavior. Please keep me in your prayers for me to be able to maintain forward progress.
Thank you!
