Well, the road to get this journey started certainly has had some sharp curves, twists, turns, and surprises.
I’m so close to the phase of this journey I’ve been most eager to get started, officially starting my college journey to obtain my B.S. to be eligible to become a legitimized pastor in the Church of the Nazarene.
As part of the “getting started” process for the school, I had to obtain transcripts from all of my previous attempts at college, which proved to be more difficult than expected. Especially when you’ve made as many attempts at college as I have. I even learned about an attempt that I truly do not recall making. 🤷
Either way, after all of that leg work, I finally got the email today confirming the school had received my last transcript and asked me to go ahead and pay my tuition deposit, which is basically a good faith type of thing to show my serious intention of becoming a student at the school. So, I paid my deposit today.
Speaking of paying my deposit, I have a minor testimony I REALLY feel the need to share.
You can’t tell me God doesn’t work in the background in quiet and mysterious ways. When I first started this journey last month, I was midway through the month and my budgeted spending money was pretty much already gone when I had my intro call about the process, steps, etc., and I learned on that call that they require the $50 deposit to be made in the beginning, and I honestly panicked because I had no clue how I was going to pay the $50. We then immediately started the process of getting my college transcripts, which caused enough of a delay to go into this month, leading up to today. I got paid last night, and this morning I received an email notifying me that my final transcript had been received and could I please log in and pay my deposit, my process could move forward. Luckily I just got paid overnight, so I definitely have the money now.
